PUBLIC ACCESS TO OUTSTANDING LEVIES

Section 298.6, Code of Iowa requires school districts to provide public access

to a list of all outstanding levies by rate, amount, duration, and the applicable

maximum levy limitations. The information is to be provided at the beginning

of the school year, and updated prior to certifying any levy by board approval

or submitting a levy for voter approval. The information is to be posted on the

district's internet website or, if the district does not maintain a website,

distributed or posted throughout the district.

with the required information for all districts at this

The spreadsheet, Outstanding Property Tax Levies and Maximum Levy

Limits, is updated annually.
