About Me

Hello, my name is Mr. Sheets and I am the Director of Technology for the Lawton-Bronson Community School District. I was hired in May of 2013. I provide technical support for all aspects of the district. Prior to my role as the Director of Technology, I worked for Sioux City Community School District as the Data Center Administrator for 13 years. I have an Associates degree in Golf Course and Landscape Technology from Western Iowa Tech. I am also a graduate of Lawton-Bronson.

Outside of work at Lawton-Bronson, I like to spend time with my family. My wife, Becky works in the Special Education office for the Sioux City Schools. Our oldest daughter, Allison, will graduate from Morningside University in 2022 with a degree in Elementary and Middle School Education with Science, Math, and English. Our middle child, Katelyn, is attending DMACC in Ankeny and will also graduate in 2022. She is a 2020 Lawton-Bronson graduate. Our youngest child, Ben, attends Lawton-Bronson.

I have been a member of the Lawton Fire Department since 2015 and Bronson Fire Department since 2016. I was also a member of Sergeant Bluff Fire and Rescue from 2005-2015. I have many certifications such as Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, Pumper Operator, Trench Rescue, Ice Rescue, Rope Rescue, Grain Bin Rescue. I enjoy helping my community and providing assistance to these departments.
