Breakfast and Lunch Information

Payment of Meals

Students and employees have use of a meal account. When the balance reaches $0.00 a student or employee may charge no more than $20.00 to their family account. (A la carte purchases will not be allowed from a negative lunch account balance.)  When an account reaches this limit, a student or employee shall not be allowed to charge further meals until the negative account balance is paid.  Deposits may be made to lunch accounts by mailing or dropping off payments to the elementary or secondary offices.  Additionally, deposits may be made to lunch accounts online through PayForIt (a link may be found on the district website under the Parents tab).

Students who qualify for free meals shall never be denied a reimbursable meal, even if they have accrued a negative balance from previous purchases. Students with outstanding meal charge debt shall be allowed to purchase a meal if the student pays for the meal when it is received.

Elementary and secondary students with a family account balance of charges that exceed $20.00 will receive a milk or juice for breakfast and a cheese sandwich and a milk for lunch at no charge for 3 days.  If the family account balance is not corrected after 3 days, the student will need to bring a sack lunch to school.

Employees with a family account balance of charges that exceed $20.00 will not be allowed to charge further meals until the negative account balance is taken care of.

Free and reduced price meals are available to those families who qualify.  If you would like to apply for free or reduced price meals, information is available on the district website or in each building.
