Breakfast and Lunch Information

Payment of Meals

Students and employees have use of a meal account.  When the balance reaches a negative balance of $-20.00, the family will be notified by phone from a school official concerning their meal account balance.  Negative balances of more than $-20.00 not paid prior to the end of the school year will be turned over to the superintendent or the superintendent’s designee for collection.  Options may include:  collection agencies, small claims court, or any other legal method permitted by law.  Deposits may be made to lunch accounts by mailing or dropping off payment to the elementary or secondary offices.  Additionally, deposits may be made to lunch accounts online through PaySchoolsCentral (a link may be found on the district website under the Parents tab).  A la carte purchases will not be allowed from a negative lunch account balance.

Free and reduced price meals are available to those families who qualify.  If you would like to apply for free or reduced price meals, information is available on the district website or in each building.  Students who qualify for free meals shall never be denied a reimbursable meal, even if they have accrued a negative balance from previous purchases.

Employees with a family account balance of charges that exceed $20.00 will not be allowed to charge further meals until the negative balance is taken care of.
